SHANGHAI CRITERIUM
On July 24th, one day after Le Tour de France ended, the organizing committee of Le Tour de France Events in China announced that the champion of the Tour, Chris Froome, will attend the 2017 Le Tour de France SKODA Shanghai Criterium on October 29th in Shanghai Pudong.
Froome is the one who receives the most attention in the race. After 2013, 2015 and 2016, Froome claimed his fourth yellow jersey of Le Tour de France, which also marks his incredible achievement for winning three executive titles of the Tour.
Chris Froome’s visit in October will be the legend’s debut as the yellow jersey owner in the race held in China. For the cycling fans in China, Froome’s participation means a lot to them.
